Holiday distractions to selling
Selling between Thanksgiving and New Year’s can be challenging for several reasons:
Holiday Distractions: Many people are focused on the holidays, family gatherings, and travel plans, which can lead them to be less interested in purchasing goods or services. The season is often filled with personal commitments, making it hard to prioritize business matters.
Budget Constraints: At the end of the year, people may have already spent their budgets on holiday gifts, travel, and other seasonal expenses. This can leave less disposable income for purchasing additional products or services.
Here are some strategies to help you take action now instead of waiting for a “fresh start” in the new year:
Break It Down: Often, delaying decisions stems from feeling overwhelmed. Break large tasks or decisions into smaller, more manageable steps. This can make the process feel less daunting and give you a sense of progress, even in the final months of the year.
Set Micro-Goals: Instead of waiting for the new year, set small, achievable goals for the remainder of this year. This helps you build momentum and feel accomplished, which can make the new year feel like a natural continuation rather than a hard reset.
By implementing some of these approaches, you can reduce the habit of procrastinating until the new year and start making meaningful progress today.
